Tektrim Innovation
The Tektrim UMB and products allow fine builders to create beautiful results with today’s challenging flush and recessed base details. Never before has it been so easy to create and install a contemporary flush baseboard. Architects and fine builders have struggled to achieve an accurate look using the existing products available. Anyone that has attempted this will attest to the fact that it is not easy to make this come out straight and clean. The Tektrim UMB and products have solved the most difficult aspects of the installation, giving you the results you have always wanted, a clean straight line at the drywall-baseboard joint.
Tektrim is proud to be your partner in the projects and look forward to working with you. If you or anyone on your projects has questions on our products, or how to install them,
we are here to be of service.

The Tektrim Story
Alan & Jeff met during a Large project in Playa Del Rey, California circa 1989.
Jeff was superintending the job and Alan came to do the finish carpentry. It was a job with many challenging modern details. Thus began a collaboration to find the perfect way to implement the assembly of these beautiful reveals, flush baseboards and shadowlines that has continued to this day.
Each successive job realized a finer and finer edge as we put into practice the lessons learned on prior jobs. We were fortunate to have worked during these years with some truly amazing architects- Each of whom helped us move forward in “the quest”. We owe a debt of gratitude to each for their vision and commitment to fine design:
