Tektrim Innovation

Tektrim products allow fine builders to create beautiful results with today’s challenging modern details. Architects and fine builders have struggled to achieve an accurate look using existing conventional products. Anyone that has attempted this will attest to the fact that it is not easy to make the details straight and clean. Tektrim products have solved the most difficult aspects of installation by our innovative pre-drywall application giving you the results you have always wanted. Never before has it been so easy to create and install contemporary architectural applications with clean straight lines for drywall details. Tektrim door and curtain track systems offer innovation for their invisible appearance. Tektrim plaster/stucco products have unique durability and appearance which we feel are exclusive within the industry.

The Tektrim Story

Alan & Jeff met during a Large project in Playa Del Rey, California circa 1989.

Jeff was superintending the job and Alan came to do the finish carpentry. It was a job with many challenging modern details. Thus began a collaboration to find the perfect way to implement the assembly of these beautiful reveals, flush baseboards and shadowlines that has continued to this day.

Each successive job realized a finer and finer edge as we put into practice the lessons learned on prior jobs. We were fortunate to have worked during these years with some truly amazing architects- Each of whom helped us move forward in “the quest”. We owe a debt of gratitude to each for their vision and commitment to fine design:
